Extension Leads & Reels

Essential Supplies holds in stock a variety of ready made 13 amp 16 amp 32 amp 63 amp 125 amp extension leads.

They are available in 240v (single phase) or 415v (3 phase) with any cable option e.g arctic blue, HO7, white or black PVC flex. Ideal for all your outdoor events and marquee needs.

ANY PLUG, SOCKET AND CABLE COMBINATION YOU REQUIRE CAN BE MADE INTO AN EXTENSION LEAD.

All are PAT Tested for electrical safety.

Wiring Loom

With the advent of LED lighting where the lights are not made to daisy chain the mains power from one to another, we solve the problem of lots of adaptors and odd lengths of cable by making a wiring loom. This is one power cable with sockets at set distances. These are made to order so there is no end to the variants or plug types and cable lengths used. Socapex

Socapex is a quick, organised way of getting large amounts of circuits from one single cable. Instead of using a lot of individual extension leads, several circuits can be run from one multicore cable. Our socaplex extensions are made using heavy duty multicore lighting cable and 19 pin plugs and sockets. We also stock socerpex male and female spiders and breakout boxes. Plugs and sockets are similar to those made by Ceep.

Adaptors

Essential Supplies stocks a wide range of 13a, 16a and 32a 2 and 3 way 240v adaptors. We stock a range of adaptors made by Lewden and PCE, including T-line adaptor, T-connector, 13a-16a adaptors, soft Y adaptors, 2 way 16a and 3 way 16a adaptors, 32a 3 way adaptors, 13a 4 gang extension leads, extension drums. Custom adaptors can be made anything from 16a-125a, 240v or 415v.

Cables

Essential Supplies stock a wide range of cables, our standard stock lines are arctic blue, arctic yellow and HO7 RNF, in stock we hold 1.5mm blue arctic, 1.5mm H07 RNF, 2.5mm blue arctic, 2.5mm HO7 RNF, 4mm arctic blue, 4mm Ho7 RNF, 6mm arctic blue, 6mm HO7, 10mm Ho7 RNF, 16mm 3 core HO7 RNF, 16mm 5 core HO7 RNF, we can also get hold easily of 25mm 3 core HO7 RNF and 25mm 5 core HO7RNF, 35mm 3 core and 35mm 5 core HO7 RNF, 50mm 3 core, 50mm 4 core and 50mm 5 core. Cable Accessories

Essential Supplies holds in stock heat shrink tubing for cable labelling and protection, cable joiners and earth rods. Also available are a variety of different cable protection road crossings for use at events and in areas where cable is at risk from heavy vehicles.

Power Distribution

Essential Supplies has a range of standard 32a and 63a single and three phase distribution boards.
We can however, manufacture or source a vast range of bespoke electrical distribution /distro panels to your specification.
Enclosures can be Flight Cased; Rubber Boxed; Steel Enclosure; Plastic Cased; Stainless Steel; etc
Boards are made from 13 amp to 400 amp, 240v or 415v, single or 3 phase, with any variation of sockets, plugs, meters, trip switches, plugs and sockets. Please email or call to discuss your requirements.

Plugs & Sockets

Essential Supplies stocks a wide range of domestic and industrial plugs, sockets, adapters, inlets and mounted sockets for industrial and domestic use. In stock we have 16a plugs and sockets, 16a turbo twist plugs and sockets, 16a black plugs and sockets, 32a plugs and sockets, 63a plugs and sockets, 125a plugs and sockets. 13 amp/ 16amp /32amp /63amp /125amp panel sockets, appliance inlets, wall sockets and wall mount appliance inlets. We stock plugs and sockets made by PCE, but can source plugs by Walther and Lewden.

We also frequently get asked for 4 pin plugs and sockets and 7 pin plugs and sockets, which we can supply in 2-3 days.

Our most common item is our 16a 3 pin blue 240v industrial plug.

Testers

Essential Supplies sells a range of different styles of testing equipment from simple voltage detection pens, to cable detectors to PAT Testing equipment. We use these items on our own products and they come highly recommended at our PAT Testing Courses. New Courses will commence at the end of 2009/beginning of 2010. Light Switch

Essential Supplies holds in stock a waterproof 16a light switch. Commonly used by caterers to switch on lights in a kitchen. This is a convenient inline switch for use in marquees by end users to turn on lights when fuse boxes are not that accessible.

Enclosures
