Temporary Lighting Solutions

We’re used to working on large projects, indoors and out.

What we do!

A large percentage of our customers are in the event and marquee industry, but our expertise isn’t limited to tents. We have completed some unusual and vast projects, sometimes at a moment’s notice, and to some high-profile clients.

From supplying lighting to Royal Mail for temporary warehouses to fitting lighting in temporary structures used by clients such as Sainsbury’s – nothing is unachievable.

Our technical team regularly design and specify lighting for big projects.

Whether it’s for a temporary warehouse, site accommodation, construction site, or even interim healthcare facilities, we have the expertise to make it happen – fast!

Our lighting options can suit any specifications and budget depending on the situation and client needs. From strip lights to floodlights and festoon, high bays to low bays, speak to our in-house experts to see what we can do to help your project.

We also supply a range of emergency floodlights and exit signs. These can all have a bespoke wiring solution which means you can have the sign you want – where you want it, and you’re not limited to cable length?.

Who we supply!

Our most recent example is a job we completed for our friends Chelsea Hire who are creating marquees for car inspection areas, the largest of which was 48 metres in length.

Temporary Warehouse Lighting

They required 186 strip lights which our team in the warehouse pre-wired with cables, plugs, sockets and suspension chains – meaning the lights will quickly form a daisy chain from one to the next.

This pre-planning and wiring service has saved Chelsea Hire 100’s of man hours on the installation. Plus, knowing they were under pressure, we managed to turn the whole order around in less than a week!

We also work closely with Roder UK who offer a range of industrial and storage buildings that are quick to assemble, just like a tent or marquee.

These structures are perfect for temporary or permanent space solutions.

When we know what structure we are designing for we supply the customer with a lighting Lux plan – this shows how bright it will be inside, ensuring it is suitable for any work or activity to be undertaken.

Below is an example of a Lux plan and a 3D render for a commercial building measuring 30 x 15 x 6.2m, it shows one example of the lighting quality needed for this size:

These structures often use a mix of LED, high bays, low bay, flood light and emergency fittings. A cable and power distribution system is also often required.

We can also offer a bespoke power solution, again depending on the activities that the structure will be used for, our designers will come up with options. From high performance, heavy-duty fixtures, to budget options depending on how temporary the use.
